The Council of Albanian Ambassadors Welcomes New Members.

Almost two years after its founding, the Council of Albanian Ambassadors has become an important point of reference in supporting and promoting our national foreign policy.

Most recently, this group of diplomats was joined by respectful personalities from the diplomatic, public and academic life of the Republic of Kosovo.

This is an added value to the CAA’ professional engagement in the service of our national and state interests.

The new members of the Council of Albanian Ambassadors from the Republic of Kosovo are: former Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany, Mr. Skënder Xhakaliu, former Ambassador in Austria and Australia, Mr. Sabri Kiçmari, former Ambassador in Ankara and New York, Mr. Bekim Sejdiu and former Ambassador to the UK, Mr. Muhamet Hamiti.

The expansion of the Council of Albanian Ambassadors with ambassadors of European caliber from the Republic of Kosovo highlights its Mission, enriching it with esteemed diplomats from all the lands where Albanians live.

Thus, the Council of Albanian Ambassadors guarantees a reliable and consistent voice that articulates with the professional language of contemporary diplomacy the embodiment of national interests of Albanians in the Balkans.

The Council of Albanian Ambassadors is a voluntary union of the highest ex officio ranking diplomats, who have served at least for a term as career or non – career ambassadors in the foreign service, as well as senior officials outspoken in their service in the field of international relations.

The Mission of the Council of Albanian Ambassadors is to provide, on behalf of national interests, the appropriate moral and professional tonality in support of the Albanian national foreign policy, in the spirit of the national interests and its Euro-Atlantic aspiration.
