Ambassador of Japan in Tirana, H.E Makoto ITO was our guest today.

Council of Albanian Ambassadors had a working lunch with the Ambassador of Japan in Tirana, H.E Makoto ITO, an experienced diplomat and very respected among diplomatic Corp in Tirana.

Ambassador Ito is the first Ambassador of Japan after the reestablishment of our diplomatic relations and a dear friend of Albania and Albanians.

We had an open and constructive conversation on our bilateral, economic and political relations as well discussed the possibilities on the establishment of a free visa regime between our two nations ect. CAA thanked Japan for their ongoing assistance through JAICA and ODA and offered our support if and when needed.

Ambassador Ito is a strong supporter of our Council, considering the role of our group as indispensable in support of the Albanian national foreign policy.
